1985 helping physicians with their specific financial needs. Joel
has published many articles that have appeared in the Medical
Society Bulletin over the years. Joel is dedicated to helping
physicians develop financial strategies to achieve their
long-term goals. This includes tax, retirement, college,
investment and estate planning along with insurance analysis.
Joel graduated from Brigham Young University in 1982 with a
degree in Finance (emphasis in Financial Planning). He has
received the designations of Chartered Financial Consultant
and Chartered Life Underwriter (ChFC, CLU) and is a member
of the Financial Planning Association. He has taught financial
seminars at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center
as well as Lockheed Martin, US West and AT&T. He has also
published articles for the Denver Medical Society and been
quoted in the Denver Business Journal and the Wall Street
Journal. Joel is a registered principal with LPL Financial.
Joel also enjoys living in Colorado and spends time mountain
biking, skiing, fishing, painting, fixing up his sports car and
spending time with his wife and 5 children.
